Macro Monday...

For Macro Monday..a strange mushroom, like I have not seen around here before, it was a deep gold color growing in my horses field.

One of the little purple flowers..that doesn't know it's days are running short...

This little guy was sunbathing on my deck chair.. he did not care that I was clicking my camera all around him!

I think these flowers are very interesting at this stage...the color variation

  2. These are some great shots. I bet the dragonfly is thinking about flying south by now. I too like the wilted flowers.

  7. These are all great shots. Creative idea for the flowers. I don't think I would have thought to take a photo of dying flowers, but you've opened up my eyes to seeing them in a different way. They are actually really beautiful with the color variations and the crinkled, twisted petals. Excellent photo!

  8. That is an interesting mushroom! I don't get much practice learning them in this dry area in which I live. The flower shots are lovely, too.
