Now some sheep owners at the fair are very artistic, or breeders of a new kind of COLORFUL sheep!

Happy Color Carnival... and Camera Critters as well!

  1. I know that the sheep doesn't care but I wonder what the other sheep think about that. It looks like food coloring so it will wash out eventually. It is a tied dyed sheep.

  4. I hope that colors will be gone soon, it sure will look weird if it's permanent!

  7. Vicki, I am thinking it was a creative FFA (Future Farmers of America) entry at the local fair..and food coloring which will eventually wash out!

  8. A hippy sheep! I'd love a jumper in those colours, and the sheep seems to quite like them!

I use a Fuji FinePix - for the butterfly shots, I was up close in the macro setting (the butterflies were really absorbed with the flowers, so they didn't mind!) For the tortoiseshell, I'd set the photometry to "spot", which brings the colours on the butterfly out, and dims the background.

    Happy photography!

  10. Love it! If it were permanent, you could spin some interesting yarn from this wool.
