Skywatch Friday...and Looking at the Sky Friday..

While Looking at the Sky Friday.. at the County Fair, we saw they have pole climbing races. What a Friday Skywatch shot he had, at the top!

  1. The view from the top of the ground might be scary. But the view of the sky from the ground is beautiful, not scary at all. The view of the sky from the pole must be breathtaking!

  4. Being somewhat (lots!) afraid of heights, this shot rather makes my palms sweat while looking at it but the sky is totally gorgeous behind that way-too-high pole!

  5. They are using a very tall pole for that race. We have short puny poles compared to that. What beautiful sky shots.

  7. Wow! That's a long, long way up! I haven't seen this in years. Our power company always uses trucks with buckets now. This is cool!

  8. Brilliant photo series! I don't mind looking up, but I'm not too sure about looking down, he's a lot braver than I am.

  9. What a great perspective. Love the idea, and the blues are so vibrant. I would have been terrified to be the guy on the pole though.

  12. Great shots. I got a little dizzy just looking at them. I don't do heights very well.
